The review left regarding items past the use by date I can confirm this also happened to me earlier this week I didn't bother returning the item as I popped in as a last resort on the way home from work will never shop there again that's for sure should have gone to ASDA
Complete shame I can't give 0 stars. Absolutely shocking service at this co-op today I went in to complain about something small and asked about a good will gesture and got nothing but the incredibly rude manager shouting "I don't know what you want me to do!" And then telling me it's ok to give pork past it's use by date to kids. I went in as I bought some chipolatas and realised when I got home one of them had the use by date for the day before all I asked was could I get them changed and would they give me another one as a good will gesture for the inconvenience and she replied "I can't just give away stock" really blunt. There was no apology at all for the mistake made she even said "it's not like it was the whole stock that's out of date it's only one" like it was acceptable. I understand mistakes get made but apologise when they do don't be rude. I honestly have never received such horrendously poor customer service from someone who is in a 'management' position. It is not acceptable to tell a customer "kids won't get I'll from eating out of date pork" when it was a mistake made on there part. This problem could have been solved in a matter of minutes and instead I was made to feel like it was completely out of order that I ask for anything. All it would have taken was a polite apology and a good will gesture and instead I just got and incredibly rude member of staff making me feel like I was out of order to point out the issue. She was quite clearly having a bad day to be so rude but i am in customer service myself and this is entirely unacceptable especially as I was polite and made a simple request. Also - the people who are pestering you for your bank details the second you walk in the door blocking you going in are incredibly inappropriate as well. To top it off when I phoned Coop central england customer services I was told they would investigate and an hour later I phoned back to find out what was happening and was told everyone had gone home. Just great
Good location stocks everything parking on road and also a few spots outside shop the employees were very friendly and helpful
Nothing to complaint just an Coop. Stock lots of stuff.
Parking is not great but the staff make up for that being so helpful
