I do a lot of my food shopping at this store and have generally been satisfied. However, the selection is beginning to have a sameness about it.This particularly applies to the Thai food which is bland and tasteless.My favourite was Singapore beef. Absolutely delicious but has not been seen for many months. Was told by HO that they had never sold it. Never got a satisfactory answer and felt was treated as an idiotCurrent Indian meals for one are now labledl serves two which they don't and never did. Someone is confusing individual meals with meal for two offers. Even the staff are confused
Easy access for wheelchairs and car park plenty of space when loading your goods. Store well stocked very clean and tidy. Food shopping today was pleasant just so relaxed no rush plenty of items to choose from; and checkout staff very helpful and cheerful; will be shopping there again.
Service in store fine but dreadful in cafe. Had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on toast. Arrived with dry toast, no butter provided and had to put it together myself. By the time I had gone to ask for butter and 'made' it up myself the food was cold. Not what I expect from Marks!
Visited late night shopping, having something light to eat in the restaurant before hand. Two staff looked straight through me as I stood waiting with my tray waiting for service, no explanation or apologies for seemingly ignoring me and a friend as we waited, my friend had to ask if she could pay for the scone that was on her tray as it was quite evident we were being ignored only to be told that she was just serving someone else who was out of our view, eventually we were served. The shopping experience after was much better.
Love this store! Its my favourite M&S store in the area. It so big and spacious, with great displays and variety of products. The staff are so lovely and friendly, theyre always happy to help. I always visit the cafe too. The food is always good quality and I love the cakes!
