Great wine shop with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Quite often pop in to try the wines. Can buy taster's or a few glasses and make use of the tables and seating upstairs. Nice touch being able to order cheese and charcuterie boards from the deli opposite. You can buy gift cards to use on the enomatic wine dispensing machines or put your card behind the bar and get one to keep dispensing and pay at the end. Not open late so a good place for some quieter drinks before a night out or just to try some really good wines.
I don't know a great deal about wine and so having a choice of 30ish without staff insight was a bit unhelpful. I've often had good, helpful service at Arch 13 nearby and Grace and James in Kings Heath but didn't really get it here. We topped up a card and then they left us to it which may suit you but didn't help me. In particular, the chap behind the till didn't seem especially keen on customer service.The wine I did drink was fine but it's quite expensive and if you aren't a connoisseur you may find other venues more helpful.
Amazing place! Very cozy bar and welcoming staff. Really great selection of wines. We really liked being able to have wines on tap and pay based on how much we consume. And the food was awesome as well! Recommend!
Cool place to buy and try wines by the glass. They have a comfortable upstairs area where you can order cheese and bread and charcuterie to try with the wines. The staff are super friendly as well and will recommend wines depending on your preferences. One of my favourite wine shops
Always love coming to Loki. I cannot rate the place enough. On this occasion it was just 2 of us, we sat on the stools in the front window. You have a top-up card you load with X amount, then off you go to try all the variations of wine Loki offers. You can also purchase many type of wine, champagne etc. Going back again tomorrow!
