Great club in the heart of the gay village, door staff friendly and helpful, bar staff always friendly, smoking area outside in which you can take your drink out there too, good music on various floors, would recommend a night out here, looking forward to going again.
The only reason I am giving 1 star is cause theres no 0 star option. Despite the nasty conditions of the club the only real problems they have are the bouncers. My guy friend was simply in the cue waiting when the bouncer decided to call him stupid out of nowhere and kick him out of the cue. I mean there are perhaps nicer ways of letting someone know that you dont want them to go inside your dirty club. It could have ruined or night but we were in the city center lol we just went spend our coin at village and mooch.
I queued for 2 and a half hours here last night, and 40 minutes at the cloakroom. When I got to the front of the cloakroom queue I realised the staff were taking so long because they were just messing about. I didn't even get to dance because they chucked my friend out for no legitimate reason. The atmosphere is good but the staff are not.
Awful customer service. What started out as a good night quickly lead into disaster. My partner and I were waiting at the bar for quite a while and people who appeared after us were being served first. We were blantantly being Ignored. We questioned this and were accused of racism, which is laughable because I am partially black (just like the bartender) and my partner is also an ethnic minority. Nothing racist was mentioned. I have no idea where she got this idea from. Obvious a pathetic. Petty excuse in an attempt to defend her poor customer service. When confronted, the bar staff (mix raced young woman with curly hair) had nothing to say other than we wont serve you and also swore at me. Extremely rude and unprofessional, unintelligent woman. She lacked the ability to justify her ludicrous decision and refused to listen to reason despite me speaking to her calmly when trying to understand why she has jumped to such a ridiculous conclusion. Train your staff.
Last night I got attacked by a random male from this club I have involved all the authorities but also the most disappointing thing is no staff of security helped me I was helpless on the floor i wasnt drunk as I was the driver for the night so when I tried to explain the situation to the bouncers they werent having none of it and made me feel intimidated and like I did something wrong and were trying to push me back like I was a man... I was able to walk out with a glass in my hand which shows they didnt care but i returned it to them at the doors as I tried to speak to the head door man he was very rude and was just not helping me at all I wouldnt even give this place one star. I will be pursing this further as I dont want no other females to ever feel unsafe if they go there
