I like the venue itself, but my main problem lies with the attitude the bouncers have towards the people there. My friend wasn't allowed in for the simple act of prescription medication they thought he was taking in the club, which was completely false. Then I myself didn't get let in because I went to look after him to make sure he would get home okay, as they thought I had "left him" for doing a friend a good deed. They weren't even worth arguing with because to put it politely they were so stuck up with their behaviour and the attitude they showed was "egoistical" and to put it politely, discusting, and give a bad name to the venue.To top it off, the bouncers wouldn't even disclose their name to me. Furthermore, I was meant to be attending with a group of roughly 12 friends, and one of which was harrassed by the bouncers because they thought he was selling cocaine in the venue, which was completely false and they themselves threatened to strip-search him, a power which is only lawfully allowed by police, despite him not having any drugs on him. Me and my friends frequently go to venues in Birmingham, and due to these incidents, me and my group of friends will definitely not be returning until these issues have been addressed. This place has gone severely downhill compared to the golden era between 2008 - and early 2012, so many scumbags attend digbeth these days and it's ruined the underground club vibe the area used to have. Don't expect to see records labels like night slugs/ hessle audio/ PAN etc playing here, maybe several yrs ago yes but not now.Save your money and go to cities like Manny, bristol, london etc that have better local independent clubs.
