As always, my visit with our "gallery"art appreciation group was superb. Haroon Mirza's exhibition is really interesting. Dan our expert guide gave us clear explanations making everything enjoyable and easier to understand. Unfortunately I (we) missed the Crows because they were too subtly displayed.
A small, unique museum with modern art. I wasn't a huge fan of the current exhibit, but I appreciated its uniqueness. There were a lot of flashing lights. I'd check what exhibit is on before heading over. It's free so if you don't like it, you don't have to spend much time there. There's a shop by the entrance.
Excellent place with a great curation of contemporary work. Also has many other art projects involving the local area.I also bumped into Dr Jordan Peterson here whilst listening to his audio book, so its go serendipity too
Fantastic venue that supports a range of artists across many forms. They have good facilities and accessibility. The bar/cafe attached to the gallery make great coffee during the day and have a great range of cocktails and drinks in the evenings too.
The iKON lives up to its name as an ultramodern conversion to an historical building. Even if you are the ultimate fitness fanatic - ride up and down in the glass lift. Great exhibition and gallery spaces and friendly helpful and informative staff are available throughout. The small shop has some lovely items and is also worth a visit.
