Lacks polish: The exterior of the store is always scruffy when I visit. Litter and unscrubbed paving let it down, with the occasional "big issue" seller hovering at entrance. Inside is better: Can have good discounts here, but on my recent visit, I was informed "the machinery is broken" so the discounts were delayed. Staff usually helpful, but generally staff look tense and customers look unsatisfied. Sometimes long queues at checkouts, small bakery section doesnt appear to get restocked later in the day. No customer toilets. Some items unclearly priced. Standard items like frozen beef burgers not (always) stocked. Hence: 2 stars
They just refused to serve 4 Asian men because someone wearing gold braided clothes like theirs had stolen from the shop earlier today.
Please shop at the Aldi further up the road. Very unhelpful staff here at the coop with a rude attitude. Although one young lady was helpful. The cashier was a stuck old so and so. Totally ignored me but was able to open her mouth to a white customer. Possible racism. Never again.
