Soooo goooooood, the staffs are goooood, the food is gooooood, the beds are not good!
Would highly recommend this place to people who need the help and support. I was on mulberry for only 2 weeks before getting moved to Rowen. Not long been discharged! The staff there are incredible, well most of them anyway! They was always there to listen to you and give you the best advice they could possibly give. Theyve helped me through some of the hardest points in life and I couldnt be more grateful. I read the letters I got off staff pretty much everyday! Thank you for all the help and support you have given me! Best staff on mulberry:- Maddie - sarah (deputy ward manager)Best staff on Rowen:-kylie (my fellow Aries)- Ashleigh- kealy (deputy ward manager)- Bridget - Emma (Christmas/science Emma)- Jenny - Lauren - dorsa - Sharon -sam-sam - Yvonne - spider women (Cant think of anyone else) The staff and other patients was so welcoming and never failed to make me smile. Will stay in touch with some of the patients! Thank you everyone for all of the support
Would give it 0 stars if I could. I was there for 1 month and I got worse. In my first cpa, they agrees on home leave (for some reason) and then following that, I returned to the unit where I was told I wasn't allowed back on. I couldn't even collect my own things, the staff dumped my possessions in bin bags and dragged them to reception. No care was sorted for me and I told them that if I were to go home, I would end my life, and yet off they sent me. Overall, a very bad experience.
please anyone thinking of going to this place dont its feels as if your in a prison there the staff are unfriendly unprofessional and unqualified they dont know how to look after anyone and have no respect for patients I did not stay for a long period of time but the time I was there I had many incidents with staff for example people coming in to rooms while your changing being locked in rooms being accused of stealing and shouted at the staff completely belittled all patients and were so rude all the time the place was unhygienic and it was very easy for people to hurts themselves leaving cleaning substances in public areas the main issue is staff even looking back on my experience the people working there were a disgrace and I have a hatred of them so unkind just really horrible people this place wouldnt even be a place suitable for animals
I was at this hospital for 8 months, the staff were pretty good, kind and supportive (Especially Jenny and Lauren who were wonderful throughout) but I just cant say this hospital helped me at all. All it seemed to do was sedate me, to the point that when I was transferred to a different hospital I was taken off all the medication woodbourne had put me on because I was at risk of having a heart attack. The food was okay but very repetitive. Maple is a much better ward than Beech.
