Avoid if you value your dignity.A gentleman from this establishment was extremely rude. I was accompanying my brother and asked a couple of questions abount diamonds as you do when looking to purchase an engagement ring. The person showing us the engagement rings and diamond might aswell have shouted at us. He was raising his voice being very aggressive and unprofessional in front of other customers. My brother politely declined to continue looking and we walked out. Why should people be spoken to like that when they are looking to spend a substantial amount of money. These guys seem to size you out as you walk in and in my opinion will give shoddy service if they think you won't buy on the spot.Edit: I have read some of the other 1 star reviews and can see these guys have a history of arguing with customers. Makes sense why we were treated like we were. It appears to be their approach. It was probably a good thing this happend having read some of the difficulties paying customers have had to go through.Good luck to those that have purchasedEDIT POST OWNER RESPONSE: The following in the response from the owner is NOT TRUE: "when you have declined to provide any information, it made his job of finding the perfect diamond within your budget for you ever so slightly more complicated" This is a complete lie. Why apologise in the response and then lieThe gentleman was extremely pushy and rude BEFORE we even got a chance to FURTHER explain the specs. We had already explained the specs once. Why would we go into a diamond shop and decline to provide any information. We have better things to do with our time.THERE WAS NO REASON FOR YOUR STAFF TO BE RUDE. Having 40 years or even 1000 years of experience does not give you an excuse for being rude and making shoppers look small in front of other shoppers. You seem to say your not used to such reviews. Have you read the other 1 star reviews?
Friendly, knowledgable, not pushy, reasonably priced. Would shop here again.
Really bad customer service. Reading previous reviews I can see Im not the only one. I just wish my fianc read these prior to making a purchase he later regretted. We got engaged in July this year in Croatia. The ring was 2 sizes too big so we took it back to diamond dealers to resize. Most companies provide this service free of charge but not diamond dealers. I collected my ring a few days later. I had my new ring which I could finally show off. However, just 7 days later I was doing my grocery shopping (a normal day to day activity) and my single set diamond came flying out, ricocheting off various fixtures. After alerting staff and spending half an hour on our hands and knees, the diamond was unable to be retrieved. We alerted Diamond dealers who simply said its not our problem once you leave our shop, claim on your house insurance absolutely appalling customer service. We returned to another shop in the qtr for an opinion. The independent jewellers advised that the claws had been drilled out so much by the setter leaving the claws so weak it wasnt fit to hold any stone (shocking) Ive now been without my ring 5 months unable to afford another as we are trying to save for our wedding next year. What should be such a happy time in our lives has been completely tarnished by this company. Im sure if I bought a Ferrari and the wheels fell off theyd do all they can to put it right. Diamond dealers take no responsibility. They take your money and wash their hands if anything goes wrong. Its clear this has happened many times before and will happen again so buyers please beware.
Was told about diamond dealer direct from a work colleague of my wifes. We travel up from Essex to visit the shop in the jewellery quarter on 1st November and was served by Bhav.He was friendly very knowledgeable and provided us with the perfect replacement diamond for my wifes engagement ring. We left feeling extremely happy with our purchase of a diamond that was better in quality/colour and clarity than the one that we had lost.I would highly recommend visiting diamond dealers direct
