In wintertime very cold place, especially public areas. It's impossible to stay without warm coat.- Kitchen for cooking is available but small and pots are horrible.- Breakfast - msli, corn flakes, milk, toasts, coffee.- Some terrible noise has been disturbing us all the night which we spent in really uncomfortable beds. Floor could be more clean as well, but shower was clean and lot of soap and shower gel.+ Kind staff.* Price - nothing special+ You can meet people from all around the earth.
Cozy, not the fanciest but felt safe which is a big plus when it comes to hostels. Staff were friendly and helpful. The matresses were a little worn so you could feel the metal bars through it. The bathrooms could be cleaner but they were not that dirty.
They looked after us Angelo and the new staff thanks again from Natalie. Felt safe, room was sound and warm and Angelo was patient and helpful with entertaining my son, very professional and pleasant. Good to feel welcome when traveling with a child.
The hostel itself is quite nice inside. Has a classic decoration and the staff are very nice/helpful. The location is quite good to move around and you can do most of things walking. Breakfast is simple (toasts, jam, butter, juice, tea/coffee, cereals) but no fruit or cheese if you are expecting that. The reason of my low rating is because of the noise at night. My room was near the reception and it was terrible because there was loud talking all the time and the walls are so thin that you can hear everything clearly as if you were inside a party trying to sleep. It was a terrible night. The toilet is fine but when I opened the shower to regulate the temperature it just make the whole floor wet and there was no towel to dry it. The room smells really bad like mold. I tried to open the window unsuccessfully. There are no power plugs for upper beds (try to ask for a lower bed) and there are only two extra plugs that do no work properly. I tried to recharge my phone and after 30% the plug just stopped working. Terrible electrical net. The sheets looked like have been used already And not cleaned. The good thing is that you have a cars key but the bad is that it is quite hard to close the door so if you get in the room when everyone is sleeping you will make lots of noise. Maybe if you stay in a double room you have a better luck. There are no lockers inside the room so if you take a backpack you have to keep your wallet under your pillow. Last I did not feel safe in that location. It is ugly and dark. There are other hostels/hotels with better location nearby. Oh and the card machine was not working so I could only do the check-in by paying in cash (luckily I had just enough).
Had a comfortable stay in one of the en suite double rooms. Didn't experience any noise whatsoever. Breakfast was basic but adequate. It comprised of toast and cereals and orange/apple juice and tea/coffee. Would stay here again and recommend to others.
