Rooms are spacious, staff is cordial, overall quality could be better but the best is complementary breakfast that has variety and quality. Apart from this entire day coffee can be consumed for free along with milk, water and juice. These are facilities that probably won't use often but they add to the attraction of a place. It is better place than other places in Birmingham city centre.

I would have given this place an excellent rating, but they have a serious and ongoing problem with their fire alarm system. We were woken at 2:30 in the morning by a false alarm. Down eleven flights of stairs we went to the street, and the all-clear was soon given. As we waited for the lifts to be switched back on, a great deal of anger was expressed by other guests, who said several false alarms had happened already over the previous six weeks. In the morning, the woman on the front desk eventually admitted that there was nothing they could do about it, as the fire alarm system is linked to that of the adjacent building. For 200 a night, this information should have been available at booking time. It's a deeply unprofessional way to treat your customers. So if you plan on partying all night, and just need someplace to shower and change in the morning, then this might be just the place for you. But if you like to sleep at night, then I'd avoid this place like the plague.

Very decent place. Not good for drivers or heavy luggage carriers, it's directly by the tram lines this prevents taxis or and vehicles to get to the front door and other access are no go areas as they have cameras and bus lanes only. The overall feeling of safety is good with the access via a concierge on the entrance or room key. Once in the lobby access to lifts to any floors is strictly by your room key.

A lot of positives to this place - it's well placed just opposite House of Fraser on Corporation Street, decent price, friendly, attentive staff, well appointed rooms, plentiful buffet style breakfast and very quiet. It lacks atmosphere though which is a shame because it offers a lot for both the overnight visitor as well as the longer term guest/resident.

So much better than a hotel room. Small kitchen area has everything you need. Microwave/grill combo, twin induction hob, kettle, toaster, pots & pans, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc.Buffet breakfast included had hot & cold food. The hot drinks machine is free to use throughout your stay. The reception includes a small shop with a range of prepacked oven/microwave meals, snacks and alcoholic & soft drinks. Very friendly & helpful staff.
