Most of the staff are really helpful and the cinema itself is not as bad as people describe.
My experience at this cinema has been great no complaints, great staff well run cinema.
Not a great cinema. Staff is really nice, but the room showed it's age (room 7), with constant sounds of water running. Sound wasn't brilliant either compared to modern cinemas.
My goodness is the experience poor. The Electric Cinema may be the oldest in the country, but this feels more outdated. If you're unlucky enough to be watching a film here, make sure you are taller than the person sat in front of you, as this cinema was designed with absolutely no elevation to combat it otherwise! Costs is nice though...
Honestly just not a great experience. I've been twice, once to try it out and again to make sure it wasn't a one-off.The screens are crowded, the leg-room is almost non-existent, the basic seats are uncomfortable, there's no seating in the (let's be kind) "retro" corridors, and the lobby is always packed with people. I've been to a few other Odeon locations and they've all been absolutely fine. It's a real shame, because it's in a fantastic location and they could do so much more with it.
