Wonderful oasis in the city. Im a visitor from abroad and had the opportunity to spend an afternoon in the park. I can see why there are many mothers who bring their young ones here. Shame about some litter which apparently arises from less aware visitors. As far as parks go this is definitely a place to visit when in birmingham within the city. A final word, the MAC cafe adjoining the park is above average interns of food and service.
Probably my favourite park in the city. The park has got really nice flower beds and a pond that also has some boats in the summer. With the Midlands art centre being on the edge off the park there is always something going on. The park extends into the Chad river valley which is great for longer walks.
Beautiful park with Lake, children area, cafe, theatre. Very neat and clean garden. Riding boat on the Lake extra addition and my children love it. It's just awesome to see lots of swans on the lake and different birds fly around. Also one can tour around the park by a small train with very minimum fee. Children love this service. Parking facility Great place to have fresh air in the busy city life.
A lovely park always clean, easy disabled parking near the entrance. I use it often and the added bonus is the Mac restaurant which serves an excellent selection of food and snacks. The theatre there has a diverse selection of arts and films in many languages. Mike Kelly. Kings Heath.
We went for the production of Rudolf which was great. There is lots of space so great for meeting up with friends for lunch. A fabulous menu with a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Permanent fair ground rides and the mini golf was even open in winter. A wonderful day out.
