Excellent park . Children play ground and great walk around the lake . Also there is a wood there but did not visit this area at time of visit .
I love coming here and make sure I walk round the entirety every Sunday, and feed the ducks, some of whom I even recognise!! Shame there are so many retards out there unable to use the litter bins provided. I pick up a bag of their leavings every week. I certainly don't advocate the culling of stupid people; just leave the warning labels off all products and let the problem sort itself out. Imagine: no litter!
Lovely park. Large pond with geese and ducks. Has a brook/stream running through it. Play area for kids. Great for dog walking and lovely open spaces for the kids. Love how some of the park has been left to go back to nature.
My local park and cnstant delight since 1977! Great play area and winter sledging slope for kids. Beautiful lake with always-entertaining wild fowl. Ducks, coots, geese and gulls. Helpful information on notice boards. Preserved more or less unspoiled by absence of car park, toilets, cafe which are sometimes "promised" - .e. threatened. The park should be kept as wild as possible!
