Being employed by this branch has been by far the worst experience during my working life!! No longer being apart of this company is a blessing in disguise!! Such a pathetic approach dismissing somebody over a phone call to their own office telephone number. Didnt even have the capacity to say it to my face! Major needs to learn facts before assuming. If you are looking for a job within the property sector, the Birmingham Central Belvoir branch is to seriously stay away from! This Branch doesnt treat employees like they are assets they treat you as if you are a liability. The franchise representative (director) is full of absolute lies. He promises you the world but doesnt know how to deliver. Unfortunately, I am able to give this company 1 star but its actually worth 0!
Great experience working with major and the rest of the Belvoir team selling our flat. Professional, friendly and pro-active. Highly recommend!
Very unprofessional. Made me move in to a flat which was not properly cleaned. Did not respond to any of my emails about this issue. Gave me only one set of keys with out duplicate. Are only worried about if the rent is credited in time and nothing else. Only positive thing is that they have started responding to emails recently. Hope they will improve their attitude towards customers
Landlords stay away! I went to Belvoir as I found them to be very friendly. I was inexperienced in the landlord field and so trusted the EXPERTS fully. I terminated my contract with the company after two years for so many reasons! My rent was never paid on time to me, even with the rent guarantee promised. I would have to call the Director him self so many times just to get my rent. I would always be told the tenant hadnt paid it, or false promises of sending the payment later on. Always an excuse. I went three months without rent payment. I asked him to get money from the guarantor. He advised this will make things sour. Also continuously advised me to not get in touch with the tenant myself. Wen I did, I found out about his lies. Tenants deposit was not protected within the 30 days. I asked numerous times for the deposit certificate, he kept saying Ill get you a copy. In the end he returned her deposit in cash to me, even then I had to pester him about it. Getting me copies of contracts was also very difficult for him. I asked for tenants in a well paid job. He had told me shes working for a reputable firm. Turns out shes on Procedure off being redundant.More problems for me. I was never shown a reference-apparently it was data protection laws. He had also promised regular checks in the property. I dont think he ever did this after the first visit. My tenant still claims that shes given him more rent then he is claiming to receive. I am now in a position where I cant serve a section 21 on my tenant or take court proceedings as I didnt protect the deposit within 30days. I say I because it is the law that the landlord ensures this is done. My tenant is wanting to leave the property as her health has deteriorated and needs suitable accommodation. Council cant help her due to lack of housing and arent willing to make her a priority as Im not kicking her out. Thanks for the worst experience in my life. Ive learnt a lot.
Major is a man who knows and understands his trade very well. He has a wealth of knowledge and is extremely efficient. I liked that he was always easily accessible, friendly and informative. You feel accompanied every step of the way...
