On arrival greeted by dumped sofa , overflowing smelly wheelie bins at the front of the building on entry is a potential rats haven also sacks of garden waste sat to the side of the front entrance in view.Shower area inadequate due to several showers were all in a very poor state only one was functional as most of the showers were faulty locks including a shower door hanging off and a cold water only shower in December?. The shower area was gloomy and unsafe due to dim lights and unlevel floor on a slope. No disabled shower and toilet facilities including no wheelchair /pushchair entry access as it is steep several steps to reception .In the shower area to the side were dumped big spongy floor tiles including abandoned underwear on the floor shoved to the side as opposed to clear appropriately. The shower area back wall mould set in with unpleasant damp smell. No shower storage provided to place ones toiletries including no shower door pegs for towels etc.Despite lockers in view no keys provided to place personal and valuable belongings . I had to come out with my hair wet in December due to no hair dryers are not provided . No hydra pool is in place as misled to believe. No hot drinks or refreshments provided. The sauna was not warm enough following my 1 hr massage. Conclusion sadly Odaro failed to provide basic spa facilities to the public and requires improvement to secure a safe and comfortable service in value for money to the public.
Terrible gym and terrible members of staff. I had a full body wax..staff left my whole body burnt with burn scars everywhere. She had no idea how to wax. But I let it go. I asked for a refund but Kiran instead offered me a 10% discount on another session to compensate for burn marks just before my holiday! I should have sued them then and there tbh but I let it go. I used to pay direct debit for both myself and my mother in law. I asked to have direct debits stopped 3 months before my holiday. I know it's takes whole month to stop hence why i asked 3 months in advance...But I was still charged. Came back from.my holiday to find out in still being charged. It's now been 2.5 months since I've spoke Aisha for a refund which she promised she will have sorted on that day. It's been 2 weeks I've been calling the gym and leaving messages for Aisha to call me back no response. Kiran has blocked my number because she has no sense of professionalism what so ever. Very rude and a nasty attitude problem. She didn't know how to deal with me complaining and asking for a refund after their staff member left me burnt! Absolutely ridiculous and a complete joke.
I joined the gym mainly as it was convenient for me after work, near home & it was ladies only which I wanted. When I initially joined I mentioned I would only be using it a few hours after work so in the first instance I should have been told there was a 14.99 per month option. I was set up on a direct debit for 25 per month which was extortionate seeing as half the machines were broken, there were no lockers to put our bags in, the steam & shower rooms smelt awful, the showers were being used by people not even using the gym. I also noticed young girls which were unsupervisee using the gym. Toilets are awful, no toilet paper half the time. Cancelled my membership which I have had to give a months notice for and not even used it for the past month and a half!
Joined this s... gym as it was ladies only. It was 25.00 per month for a poxy small gym most the machines were broken except for the running elliptical trainer. Most the staff had attitude problems and always made excuses when hearing criticism.This gym is by far OVERRATED its not worth the time or effort. There is hardly any parking. You pay for the decor inside the gymThey have no locker keys the lockers were pointless they then asked for 5.00 to get a key for a locker! As the lockers have locks built in you cant use your own. Lastly the showers were disgusting very bad smell coming from the showers was damp and off putting. The toilets had a bad smell too this place is so poorly built. The changing room walls and doors were loose felt like you couldn't lean against them at all.
First impression . Wanted to go to a all women's gym and found this one. The maintenance here is so bad it's not acceptable for them to be charging any money for this . the gym has almost 6 machines that aren't working and it's tiny. They have no changing space it's wide open only three private cubicals and no where to put your bags etc. I didn't use the sauna or steam room. It didn't look clean at all . The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because the receptionist was very understanding and refunded me the price I paid for the day after I had to call the owner. The receptionist was lovely. Just a shame it wasn't a good space for women as they advertise.
