Passing through the station I noticed an vintage-style station sign, which I thought looked interesting and was went to take a photograph. I was informed by an extremely rude member of staff that photography was forbidden in the station. I tried to explain that Network Rail's guideline openly welcome enthusiast photography, but the member of staff still insisted that photography was prohibited.I've visited many stations across the UK, and have never once encountered such ignorance of the railway's own rules by a member of railway staff.
Incompetent staff. I wont be coming through this station again.
I'm shocked to see positive comments on the staff at this station because I've gone out of my way to come on here and let everybody know how disgusting the staffs attitudes are. Absolutely disgusting service from nearly every staff that I spoke to here. It pains me that I still have to give it a star!
Birmingham Snow Hill Railway Station is the home of many Choo choos. If you want to go on a Chuff chuff get down here. There are regular services. Some trains stop at all the stations, whilst other ones go whoosh and only stop at a few. If you want a bus this place is no good. If you want a taxi it is the wrong venue. Thomas the Tank engine has never, ever visited Snow Hill, due to Percy telling him he would get mugged for his iPhone.
Beautiful modern station with lots of ideas for my model railway. Enhanced by the fact it was a beautiful day. I love modern architecture snd this is a fine example. Open and spacious with amenities and feels very safe. Clean and the staff were very welcoming.
