Good food good atmosphere great service. Dessert was disappointingly small ( not worth the money).Gone in 3 spoonfuls.
Amazing lunch! Had the slow cooked beef which was to die for, followed by the dark chocolate tart with chantilly cream and a glass of prosecco to wash it all down with! Staff were very attentive despite it being busy. I would allow for more than an hour for a 2 course lunch but we'll worth it. Highly recommend and will go back again very soon :-)
Usually a fan for dinner here, but had lunch for the first time and it wasn't great actually. The starter was just salty and the main course of beef was dry. Service good though, as usual.
Polite and courteous staff that didn't miss a trick when it came to service. The timing of the food and drinks was spot on and the food itself had a gourmet edge to it. I had the scotch egg, daube of beef and bread and butter pudding. All were excellent in presentation , beautifully cooked and most importantly tasted great. At about 60 a head I thought they pitched it about right possibly in the good value bracket considering some of the inflated prices elsewhere
Booked a table for 18.30 on Saturday but because we were early we decided to have a few cocktails. Absolutely delicious . We we were seated at 18.30 and there was enough to choose from the menu. Everything about that evening was perfect. The ambience, staff, food and drink couldn't be faulted. The food was so good I forgot about taking photos . Well worth visiting!
