I've been going to Urban Cycles for over a year now. They have consistently sorted out any problems with my bike very thoroughly, going above and beyond with their help whenever needed. Always get a fair deal and, unlike many bike shops, wouldn't dream of ripping you off. Very cheerful service and always good for a chat - would recommend 100%!
Top servicing. They do a really thorough job for a lot less than most bike shops charge for a shoddy "oil yer chain and pump your tyres". Tried a lot of South Brum bike shops but since I found this place, I've not been anywhere else.
The owner of the shop (Andy) raised his voice in an aggressive manner and ranted at me (saying things like go away and stop wasting his time; how big companies dont pay their taxes"). After I told him I simply wanted to compare the prices online for the bike locks.I went back to ask for a refund after finding out it was much cheaper to buy it elsewhere. They refused to give me a refund.Students be wary of the overpriced products they sell and false claims they make.
A great service. Replaced my bike chain at a great price, and super friendly people who deserve equally friendly customers. I cannot recommend them enough for convenience, price and service!
I couldn't recommend Urban Cycles enough. I've just moved to Birmingham and bought a new bike that didn't come with brakes or mudguards. Andi took the time and effort to find ones that really suited my bike, and did so incredibly quickly. Having read other reviews, i believe they truly go above and beyond for every customer. Couldn't have been a nicer welcome to Birmingham and will now definitely be my go to place for anything bike related!
