This is a DREADFUL place. I only award it one star, because it's not possible to give it nothing....but in reality, thats what it deserves. With few exceptions, the Doctors are aloof, gung-ho and actually a little disrespectful. The front office staff - some are nice, but let down by a poor organisation, others are frankly idiots. God alone knows why they get employment in a medical centre, as these people couldn't walk and chew a stick of gum at the same time. Its all very unseemly when they bicker amongst themselves in front of waiting patients. Then there is the chaotic organisation, a computer system which doesn't work, prescription requests are often missed. Visiting this surgery is rather like using a toilet - not something you particularly enjoy, but you have to do it. The only reason I go back is that I under the care of a specialist nurse, who visits, and not part of the surgery staff. She is brilliant, even though its not difficult to shine amongst this motley crew. Poor, poor, poor.
Worst Medical-centre ever! I went there to register a few weeks ago. They asked me to call back within a few days to confirm the registration. I called them 3 times during one week, with 20 minutes waiting/per call. When I finally reached them 2 weeks later, they told me they LOST my application and I have to go back there again. The lady over the phone was rude and didnt even apologize for losing my papers. She told me to come back again to do the same procedure, and when I came there she told me they do not accept more people and cannot register me. This is a scandal and the fact that they lost my paper with personal data is NOT OK. And the ladies who work in the reception must be the most unhappy people I have ever met. Poor them.
Reception Staff are very rude and unhelpful. I booked an appointment for my mother and I went to the gp with her I was told that they cancelled the appointment. I wasn't sent a text or an email even though they have my details in their system. When I confronted the receptionist she ignored me. I asked her to book another appointment, she said that I have to call in the morning between 8 and 10. I called 18 times in the morning to book another appointment....nobody answered
not even stepped foot through their doors and already had problems, after registering with them I was rang countless times telling me my details are wrong, when I try to correct them Im told I am not even on the register. I have rang them numerous times and been left on hold for half an hour at a time to then be hung up on, the one time I did get through to them I was greeted by a receptionist who told me to ring back another time, look for somewhere else to register because its beyond a joke. I feel sorry for their patients.
Wouldn't even rate 1 star.. for the last week I've been ringing for an appointment.. seeing as I did get a letter from the practice telling me to book an appointment.. I try to book one and the staff don't answer the phones!!! I'm currently on the phone and it's been ringing for 14 minutes with no one picking up.. GET NEW STAFF!!!!
