Brilliant venue for sports events. A friend had booked here for a badminton session staff could have been more helpful however overlooking this minor issue we were pleased with the venue.
Really love this Victorian pool, it has nice character features preserved. As well as a nice sauna/steam room. Plenty of locker space too. The gym has just got refurbished as well. Staff are really nice too.
Sauna facilities are under par. Small and low hygienic standards. Rules need to be enforced. Sitting on a towel in the sauna is number 1.Ability to wash down the seating in the steam room is essential as you are basically sitting in a pool of someone else's dirty water.Disgusting
Lovely old pool, well maintained, nice staff, old style changing cubicles round the edge. Lovely to swim at a nice pool with history rather than the soulless modern ones. Slow, med, fast lanes laid out and not too crowded. And they do a 12 for 10 swims card at 42 which works out at 3.50 a swim so pretty good value too.
