Really lovely hotel. There spa was nice I wish it just had a bit more to it. Plus there were a lot of rowdy people in there. So felt more of a public swimming pool, then a relaxing spa area. The room wasn't very spacious as the layout was very weird and meant we had to shimmy around the bed all the time. However, the bathroom was lovely and large. At night it got very hot and stuffy which was a shame as the beds were so comfy.We had a lovely time but there were a few things that let it down
Lovely hotel. Rooms very nice and comfy. Was not too pleased to book a spa day to find the pool full of children. Was not very relaxing but apart from that it a was a very pleasant stay
Awful experience unfortunately. Booked an accessible room as I'm on a mobility scooter. Room was tiny with no rails in the bathroom. Was also freezing. Staff nice and helpful though.
Well deserved for the price. Room,food and the hospitality of the staff. The only issue we had was the shower setting was not working properly and the condition of the stairway to the leisure facilities untiedy which requires cleaning. But other than that our stay was good.
Having been a member of the Marriott leisure centre for some years it is with regret that I am seriously considering leaving. Members used to benefit from the occasional free visitors passes to so enable friends and family to visit, also members benefited from occasional social evenings, a Christmas brunch....however this has ultimately all ceased with may I add no decrease in fees to counter act what has been lost. If you visit on a Saturday you are often faced with large groups of hyperactive individuals screaming the place down, if you place a towel on a lounger you often find that these get removed by hen groups displaying no regard for you or anyone else at all. The place used to be so relaxing, now it's the opposite. Such a great pity.....members used to be treated well, this is no longer the case.
