Rough a fight in the pub, bouncer tumbled into my friend and full pint of stella went over my mate. I been before and good but week last Saturday the place was full of drunks, we moved on to a better bar with a safe environment.
Very up scale place, on the expensive side also. Guinness was 4.85. Double rum and coke was 8.50 I believe. Comfortable seating, with plenty of space. Scaffolding was up on the exterior when I was there but no big deal. Would go again. 4*
I love this pub and always pop in for a drink when I go to the German Christmas market. The drinks prices for Birmingham are very competitive and I have a vast range of jeans at very good prices. I would have given this venue a five-star review however, I stood at the left-hand side of the bar and got missed to be served about 6 times. I moved to the right hand side of the bar and got served in a number of minutes and asked 3 times if I had been served. This venue needs to chat to their bar staff and try and work the bar better.
Nice room, shower was hot with good pressure which is always a bonus. Cheap breakfast options and it's a great central location. Little bit noisy later at night but that's an issue with any central spot.
Absolute fab location for everywhere we needed to be. Staff polite and friendly, found the room very clean. Only complaint was that the room was so hot even though we had a fan, couldn't get any fresh air in the room. Tried opening the window but couldn't. This wouldn't put me off staying again though.
