Fairly good. People with an interest in jewelry making may find it particularly attractive. There is a tiny and cosy cafe inside which is really nice. Not much of a jewelry collection but the museum is actually a factory for jewelry production so it is more centeted on the mechanics and processes of making jewelry.
Excellent place to spend a couple of hours. A guided tour which was very interesting. Well worth the visit.
Fascinating museum. I was anticipating more actual jewellery but this is a museum of the workshops and offices. The guide was so knowledgeable and demonstrated how the jewellers punched out charms etc. A very interesting place to visit.
Fantastic museum that looks like workers only left yesterday. A piece of history paused for all to see.The guides really bring the museum to life with their knowledge and passion for the era and the jewellery Quarter in general. You can get a real appreciation for the working conditions that were faced by people working everyday in the workshop.
Extraordinarily preserved small jewellery factory, apparently left as it was when it closed in the mid 20th century. Knowledgeable guides. Excellent shop, with jewellery for sale from smiths in the Jewellery Quarter. Passable cafe. Several decent places to eat nearby.
