Love this place. Always a warm welcome, HK serves up gorgeous contemporary food in a relaxed setting. Whether its the bar menu or the restaurant, I have always come away delighted. A real keeper, thanks.
A wonderful balance of contradictions, a relaxed and informal fine dining experience offering an experience comparable to the very best in region.The tasting menu is an excellent offer, as is the inexpensive 3 course and lunch options. Having seen some of the very reasonably priced plates from the bar menu pop out, that too is on my list of things to do.People leave this place happy. It's a wonderful, accessible introduction to the world of fine dining. The chefs table is a novel and rewarding experience and well worth the effort. The wine menu is well positioned for the suburbs, with a very well considered range of pairings - the wine flight is a wonderful accompaniment if you are seeking the full monty.
Fantastic lunch today at Harborne Kitchen. We had the 6 course meal, seated at the Kitchen Table, with wine pairing, and it was absolutely delicious and fascinating to hear about the characteristics of the wine and why it had been chosen to accompany each course. Service was also great. Would wholeheartedly recommend it!
