nothing to say other than "absolutely divine". fantastic dining experience with superb service. Well worthy of its Michelin Star !

Excellent food, having visited a few times in the past year I can certainly say that Simpsons is by far my favourite and one of the best restaurants in Birmingham. The tasting menu is definitely recommended, and worth every bit. The wine list has a great selection from different price ranges and great quality. My favourite dish on this occasion was the apple dessert, which was a wonderful hit of apple and a great finish to an exceptional meal.

Really excellent experience at this restaurant. The staff deserve a mention as they make such a difference in a place like this. They are friendly and make the experience accessible for everyone not just fine dining regulars. Every dish comes with a detailed explanation and any questions are answered without any fuss. The food itself was, as expected, first class. Really fun to try new flavours and being surprised with little extras in between the courses makes it a special event.

Previous visit was special but we really liked the way the rooms have been rearranged in the last few years. The atmosphere is improved by bringing all the covers together. The food and service was every bit as good as you'd expect. The sommelier was a particularly fun character and spent a good amount of time making our visit well informed and enjoyable.Looking forward to returning!

This restaurant has lovely venue and well presented food, but I dont feel the service or the environment is up to the Michelin starred standard. The service was really slow but quite chaotic. The staff were not well trained although they were polite. There was only one person who was wine knowledgeable which was fine. The rest of staff didnt have sufficient knowledge of the food, they just came and name the ingredients and left straight away. More importantly they were not attentive and one staff collected my friends plant before she even finished her food. We had to ask him to stop. The environment, it was just way too loud. There was a particular loud table, that the table next to them had to leave because of them. It would be fine if this was just a normal restaurant, but for fine dining, especially if this is Michelin starred, the whole combination just seemed very poor. Food was great, although not so creative. Took a video shot and thought its gonna be some kind of molecular gastronomy experience but nothing special. It could be that we just happened to bump into a busy night but I personally feel that service and environment are particularly important for this level of dining. I liked the food but I dont feel I want to go back.
