A brilliant attraction in the centre of Birmingham, perfect for families. Make no mistake this is an expensive day out in terms of ticket price, but it is a vast, high quality 'experience', especially for kids. There's a good balance of learning for all ages, plenty of interesting artefacts and many 'hands' on features. Parking is easy and the Thinktank is in close proximity to other things to do, eat, drink in the city centre too. Don't miss the out-side water area.

We've been a few times over the last 5 years as they have a good range of learning activities for the kids. The most recent visit was still great, however, they don't seem to have added anything new since the first visit and there were multiple interactive displays that were not working. It may have been the time of year when they perform a lot of their maintenance but if that's the case they shouldn't charge full price. Still, it's a marvellous place to go for a family morning or afternoon out.

Every time we come here it's just amazing! We've come a big groups, just 2 of us, & loads in between, every time was great & would recommend to all.Been to a few events here over the years, the latest one was the after hours Halloween event. Really good fun, staff were impressively dressed up, loads of things/shows, a high level of interactivity for the boys. The family had a wonderful time & will be coming again.

Great for visiting with primary and preteen children. All the science is presented in a fun and interactive way. As a family we have visited many times as there is always something different going on, from the theatre presentations, the science activities in the labs, hands on sessions in the galleries. The planetarium is small but the sessions are well put together and informative.

ts a bit of everything - natural history, technology, industrial history of West Midlands, exhibits demonstrating basic physics concepts. One of the projectors in the planetarium was out of order on that day but the show ('Polaris') was excellent. You could easily spend a day there. The kids really enjoyed.
