I've rent at this location many many times over the last 4 years and it has been great every time. The staff is helpful, nice and provides great service. Never had any issue with their cars, often below 10k miles and always clean.Like every single rental agency, there are rules and charges associated. Double check your car, take a video/photo of it before driving off. If you get a parking or speeding ticket, there will be charges. Return it with the full tank or empty if you took the FPO. If there's anything wrong with the charges, be nice and talk to the agency directly. They will fix it immediately. Hertz is a company with an amazing onsite staff but poor head office so keep it local. If you are an elite Gold reward member you can be certain if the stocks allow it, you will get a nice upgrade. Fill the survey at the end, they are all read by the managers and they will contact you directly if you had any issues. Finally, make sure you have a car rental insurance or take the additional insurance offered by Hertz.
As a Gold Member, I walked in and gave my name, and was handed rental agreement, and told key was in the car ready to go. I was no more than a minute in their office. I was in a rush that morning, and not having to wait was a breath of fresh air, this is very uncommon.I remove 1 star though, as I received an email stating I was eligible for an upgrade, but I had already left their office and couldn't avail of it.Staff were friendly, helpful, when I asked about the vehicle economy I was renting.When putting fuel in the car, there was no indication of whether it was petrol/diesel(normally a sticker would be on the fuel cap stating so). So, future customers may find this troubling.
Very smooth experience, staff all friendly and excellent value, would definitely use again, just dropped a star as I personally checked the car for damage on collection and noticed a few stone chips and a graze on back wheel arch neither which was recorded when I pointed them out. They would be impossible to see if the collection was in the dark and would surely be a issue when car would be returned by an innocent customer. . . As always it's a case of customer beware I'm afraid !!!
Rental car parking space is a 5 minute walk drom the terminal. There is also a shuttle bus. NR 1 service screen at the counter showed the parking space number where my car was parked. Car was clean, I got an upgrade. Rental documents were missing so checkout took a little longer. On return staff were quite quick for the return check. Electronic invoicing produced invoice quickly. Good rental experience.
